This exhibition could not have been staged without the support and help of many people from Frittenden and beyond. 

We are thankful to the following individuals for their specific support:

• Tor Millard, Phil Betts and the Frittenden Historical Society committee
• Tony Baker for the conservation work on the St Mary’s Roll of Honour
• Sue Betts for her amazing idea which filled our “blank wall”
• Karen Brock for help with research of some of the more difficult to find people and with setting up the exhibition
• Chris Brown for taking our vague concept for a centrepiece and turning it into a masterpiece
• Nick Bull for producing the fantastic artwork which we used on our marketing materials
• Heather Cullingworth for the fabulous backdrop to Chris Brown’s garden of remembrance

• Aidan McGinley for helping deliver the invitations around the village
• Rosalind Riley for her fantastic voiceover for our introductory video

• Frittenden WI for providing delicious refreshments over the weekend of the exhibition
• Frittenden School have enthusiastically supported the project and the work the children produced for the exhibition was brilliant
• Cranbrook Museum for the loan of some of their artefacts
• St Mary’s Church and Frittenden Parish Council for their support
• To all our volunteer stewards for giving us your time and enthusiasm for the exhibition
• Dulwich Prep Cranbrook for the loan of display cases and display boards (and for transporting them)

There were also those who:

• Made trench cake for the exhibition
• Loaned us family items and told the stories behind them
• Put notices in their windows
• Handed out flyers to their friends and colleagues

We were also the grateful recipients of a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, which gave us the means to put our visions into reality.
